TGBS #2: I AM GRATEFUL THAT LOVE EXISTS…

Very grateful…
If there is one thing my trip to Lagos reminded me of, it will be that there are still genuine people out there…

I had some things to put in place in Lagos so I had to be there for a week….
From the moment I arrived till the moment I was to depart, I felt nothing but love… well except for when I had crazy Taxify drivers and when I had to be stuck in one place for hours all in the name of hold up….That was clearly not love (laughs)..

Most of the people I saw in Lagos, I was just meeting for the very first time but to be honest, it didn’t feel like…

The hugs were real… I know that because I try to avoid hugs but these were just not avoidable because they were too big and came with huge smiles….

People who had never met me before felt the need to gift me which became a daily thing… Either I receive them when I am out or they bring them to me themselves or they send them via a dispatch rider… Those made me very humble and grateful…

What was really interesting was the various conversations I had with different people, people I was meeting for the first cancelled their future appointment just so we don’t stop talking, people took the day off work so they could meet me, came all the way from neighboring states so we could chat and Interestingly I also found myself screaming don’t go afterwards…

Meeting these people and engaging them made me laugh, inspired me, created solutions to problems and made me realize there are still really nice people out there…

Lagos was all love, that I could tell you Oha and I didn’t regret any bit of it….
Someone said it’s because these people were meeting me for the first and I replied “that’s for you to say but it’s for me to feel…”

Not everyone gets to be loved in such manner, so I refuse to take these for granted..
So, Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah rabbil alaameeen…

What are you grateful for today?

And if you are grateful, I will surely increase you…Q14V7
